What I Write
As a writer I am always trying to explore the uncommon, the different, whether that be through an other-worldly science fiction story or in a non-fiction piece on otherness and difference.
I work in the genres of science fiction, science fiction romance, memoir, creative non-fiction, and, most recently, have taken up poetry again.

Who I Am
Over the past 20 years I have worked in the non-profit field as an administrator and human resources specialist. In 2014 I received my certificate Non-Profit and Voluntary Sector Management from the Toronto Metropolitan University. Before that, I worked in advertising and as a tour guide through the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
From an early age I struggled with my mental health and was later diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. After many years of remaining silent, today I try to be an advocate for the de-stigmatization of mental health issues, especially in the workplace.

I currently live in Timmins, located in beautiful Northern Ontario with my cat Belle. During my free time you can find me writing, baking or spending “crafternoons” with friends cross-stitching.
